For the Sauce:
- 1 tbsp. ketchup
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp. mustard
- ½ tsp. favorite hot sauce
- 1 tbsp. relish
For the Smash Burger Tacos:
- 1 lb. ground round
- 1 tsp. Kosher salt
- ½ tsp. freshly ground black pepper
- ¼ cup diced onion
- 1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
- 2 slices American cheese, cut in half lengthwise
- 4 (~6-inch) flour tortillas
Preparation
- Heat your Daytona griddle to medium-high heat.
- Combine mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, and hot sauce in a small bowl and set it aside.
Cooking Instructions

Break up the beef into four loose portions and place them on the hot griddle in mounds.

Sprinkle generously with salt and pepper, and cook for 2 minutes.

Toss a tortilla over each mound and press down to shape the beef to fit.

Let the tortilla crisp up to a golden brown for another 2 to 3 minutes.

Flip, top with cheese, and when it melts and the tortilla is perfectly browned, load it up with lettuce and onions.
