California AB 1200 — Cookware Chemical Disclosure

California’s Assembly Bill 1200 (AB 1200) gives consumers the right to know what chemicals are intentionally present in the food-contact surfaces of cookware sold in the state. We support that. At Nexgrill, transparency isn’t a legal obligation — it’s part of how we show up for the people gathered around our grills.

The table below lists each Nexgrill product covered under this law, the food-contact component, the material it’s made from, and every intentionally added chemical present in that material. All products meet the safety standards established by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for food-contact use.

AB 1200 defines cookware as any item used to prepare, dispense, or store food or beverages — pots, pans, skillets, grills, griddles, baking sheets, trays, bowls, and utensils. Intentionally added means a chemical the manufacturer deliberately includes because it serves a functional purpose in the product.
